Francis McDonagh, 41, was sentenced in November 2022 for assaulting taxi driver Adrian O'Brien and damaging the vehicle's roof lining while extremely intoxicated at Battery Road, Longford, on 19 June 2021. Gardaí arrested McDonagh at the scene and he was charged with assault, public intoxication, and criminal damage to property.
