  A 39-year-old Syrian man, Abdul Alkak, arrived at Dublin Airport without a passport or any form of identification and was arrested on Friday at 3.50pm. He was charged later that evening with breaching the Immigration Act and made no reply after caution. On Saturday he appeared before Judge Conor Fottrell at Dublin District Court, where he did not enter a plea and no bail application was made. The judge granted legal aid and remanded him in custody to appear again on Tuesday.
