Witness appeal over armed robbery of premises on Wickham Street, Limerick City

On Saturday 8 June 2024, at about 10:55am, a male armed with a knife entered a business premises on Wickham Street, Limerick City, threatened staff, stole items and fled on foot towards Thomas Street. Gardaí have linked this robbery to two other retail robberies in Limerick City, on Roches Street on 10 June 2024 and on the Ballinacurra Road on 13 June 2024. A man in his 30s was arrested on 19 June 2024 under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, charged, and was due before Limerick District Court at 10:30am on 20 June 2024.
