West Clare man pleads guilty to drug dealing over €300k cocaine and cannabis
Stephen Healy, a 28-year-old man from West Clare, was caught with cocaine and cannabis worth €299,250 in two Garda seizures, on 11 July 2023 at Drumatehy, Connolly, and on 13 August 2023 at a mobile home at Furoor Upper, Kilkee. He was arrested on 13 August 2023 and later pleaded guilty at Ennis Circuit Court to two Section 15(a) drug dealing offences, which the State said activates a suspended prison term imposed in 2022. Judge Francis Comerford remanded him in custody to next month for sentencing, after he had been on remand since last November.
