A two-car collision occurred on the N59 in Ballysadare, Sligo, at approximately 2:30pm on Monday 21 April 2025. Four occupants of one vehicle, two adult females aged in their 40s and 20s and two children, a nine-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl, were rushed to Sligo University Hospital with serious injuries. The sole occupant of the second vehicle, a woman in her 50s, was also taken to the hospital for assessment. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are examining the scene and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage. No arrests or charges have been reported.
