Suspects released without charge in Dublin fatal assault investigation

A man in his 30s was fatally assaulted in Dublin between Saturday 6 January and the early hours of Sunday 7 January 2024. Gardaí found him with serious injuries at an apartment in Lucan, County Dublin, at about 3am on 7 January, and he was later pronounced dead at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown. On 30 May 2024, two women in their 40s and a man in his 30s were arrested in connection with the investigation and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
