Slovenian man jailed for harassing teen girl with threats to leak images

A 24-year-old Slovenian man met a girl, who was 15 at the time, through the online game Roblox in 2022, and later threatened to leak sexualised images of her to her family and friends if she did not do as he asked. Gardaí arrested him at Dublin Airport on 27 November 2024 and released him without charge, then arrested him the following day for loitering outside the victim's home, and he has been in custody since. He pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to harassment and possession of four images of child sexual abuse. In November 2025 the court sentenced him to two and a half years, backdated to November 2024, and ordered no direct or indirect contact with the victim, now 18, for 25 years.
