Ricky Fagan to stand trial for killing two teenage friends in Donegal road crash

Ricky Fagan, 31, was sent forward for trial at Letterkenny Circuit Court on charges of dangerous driving causing the deaths of 17-year-old Nathan Fullerton and 18-year-old Nathan Farrell in a car crash at Quigley's Point, Co Donegal, on 29 April 2017, as well as cocaine possession charges from a 2020 incident in Buncrana.

    Fagan, arrested in Northern Ireland in September 2022 and extradited to the Republic in January 2025, appeared at Letterkenny District Court where the DPP consented to his trial at the next sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court commencing 25 May.
