RIAI applies to remove Dublin murder convict Graham Dwyer from register
Graham Dwyer, an Irish man aged 51, was convicted in 2015 of the murder of Elaine O'Hara, a 36-year-old Irish woman, after stabbing her to death at Killakee Wood in south Dublin in August 2012. He was arrested in October 2013 and received a mandatory life sentence at the Central Criminal Court. The Supreme Court unanimously affirmed his conviction after he made repeated appeals. The Royal Institute of Architects in Ireland is now seeking a court certificate of his conviction to advance an inquiry to remove him from the architects register, where he remains listed.
