Polish man charged with drugs and money laundering offences at Galway escape room

Olgierd Frankowski, a 47-year-old Polish man who works in the tourism entertainment business, was charged with 13 offences including the possession of cannabis, amphetamine and MDMA found at his home and workplace, and money laundering over €12,700 in cash. The drugs were found on September 30, 2022, at his home on Eyre Street, Galway, and at Escape Rooms Galway on Dominick Street. He was arrested shortly after midnight on August 27, 2026, at Garda Northwest Regional Headquarters in Murrough, and appeared before a special sitting of Galway District Court.
