Medical journal editor Helen Moore takes High Court case over demotion without consultation

Helen Moore, 65, managing editor of the Irish Journal of Medical Science, brought High Court proceedings against the Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland (RAMI) alleging she was demoted to editorial assistant in January 2022 without consultation, in breach of an agreement to restore her to her position. Mr Justice Brian Cregan granted an ex parte injunction restraining RAMI from demoting or downgrading her.
