Man remanded in custody over €700k drugs seizure in Summerhill, Co Meath

On a Wednesday evening, gardaí seized suspected cannabis and cocaine worth about €700,000 at Kelly's Timber Yard in Summerhill, Co Meath. Frank Fitzpatrick, 34, of Blanchardstown, Dublin, was arrested at his home on the morning before he was charged and taken to Trim Garda Station. On 29 July 2023 he was charged with two counts of possession of drugs and two counts of possessing drugs for sale or supply, and he appeared before Judge Brendan Toale at Dublin District Court, where no bail application was made and he was remanded in custody. He is due to appear again at Trim District Court by video link on Tuesday.
