Man charged with stealing checkpoint beacons from Buncrana Garda Station

Matthew Cassidy, a 19-year-old man of Gransha Road, Buncrana, has been charged with stealing a carry case containing six MEPRO checkpoint hi-visibility flashing beacons from Buncrana Garda Station, Donegal, on St Stephen's Day, 26 December 2023. The beacons are valued at €200 and were the property of Chief Superintendent Aidan Glacken.
