Sergee Kelly, 23, has been charged with dangerous driving causing the death of Ronan Wilson, aged nine, from Kildress, Co Tyrone, after a collision on Atlantic Way in Bundoran, Co Donegal, at around 9.20pm on 23 September 2023. Kelly was previously charged with failing to stop, failing to remain at the scene and failing to offer help to the injured party. He was arrested and charged at Ballyshannon Garda Station on Friday 5 April 2024, and at Ballyshannon District Court that day Judge Monika Leech granted him bail after a €10,000 cash lodgement and directed a further €10,000 lodgement.
