Man charged over alleged sexual assault on schoolgirl on Dublin bus

A 26-year-old Indian national, Vimalkarthik Balasubramanian, of Castlegate Park, Lucan, Co Dublin, was charged with sexually assaulting a schoolgirl on a bus in Dublin on a date in April. The alleged assault lasted 40 minutes and was reported to gardaí nine days later, after the girl told her mother.
