Andrejs Galino (33), of Tallaght, Dublin, is accused of following another man in a grey VW on May 27, 2023, damaging his wing mirrors and assaulting him at Ballypickas Cross, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois. Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby told the court the victim, who knew the accused from work, was driving home when he noticed the car behind him, and that a scuffle followed in which the victim's shoulder was dislocated. At Portlaoise District Court in September 2024 the judge refused jurisdiction and adjourned the case to October 14 for service of a book of evidence.
