Inmate charged with assault of prison officer in Portlaoise

Sean McCarthy, 23, of Swords, Dublin, was charged with assaulting a 50-year-old female prison officer at Midlands Prison, Portlaoise, on 17 September 2020 by throwing a bucket of dirty water over her.
