Hayes brothers to be sentenced for savage attack on Ciaran Ryan in Kildimo, Limerick

Cian Hayes, 34, and Daragh Hayes, 37, of Ballyashea, Kildimo, Co Limerick, pleaded guilty at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court to assault causing harm and using a hurley and a wrench as weapons after luring Ciaran Ryan to Daragh Hayes's house on 29 September 2021 and beating him in an unprovoked attack. Judge Colin Daly adjourned sentencing to 30 January 2025 and remanded both on continuing bail.
