Gardaí seize €8.2 million worth of drugs in operation targeting organised crime
On 7–8 October 2025, Gardaí from the Terenure Drugs Unit and supporting units executed search warrants at 16 properties across South Dublin, West Dublin, Meath, Westmeath, Laois and Offaly, seizing over 110 kg of suspected cocaine and 1.5 kg of suspected heroin worth €8.2 million, along with £38,000 and €63,000 in cash.
