Electric vehicle charging cables were cut and stolen from two locations in Tipperary Town on the night of 27 to 28 October 2026. The first theft occurred at about 11pm on 27 October at a car park on the Link Road, and the second at about 12.20am on 28 October at a business premises in the Bohercrowe area. A dark coloured vehicle, believed to be an Audi TT, was seen near both incidents. Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Tipperary Town Garda Station.
