Gardaí appeal for help tracing three suspects after Balbriggan crime spree
In the early hours of Tuesday 5 May 2025, between 2:30am and 4am, three unidentified suspects drove a stolen black Audi Q3 to a warehouse in Oldtown, Balbriggan, where they caused damage but took nothing, before continuing north on the R130 to Garristown to rob a pub, removing the contents of a safe including a Rolex watch. The Audi Q3, registration 131C9160, had been stolen in a burglary in the Ballinteer area of South Dublin on 30 April 2025. Gardaí recovered the vehicle in the Riversdale Grove estate in Palmerstown, West Dublin, where it had been parked for a number of days. As of 23 June 2025, no arrests or charges have been made, and Balbriggan Gardaí have issued a Crimecall appeal asking the public to identify the three suspects, trace the Rolex watch, and come forward if they travelled on the R130 between Oldtown and Garristown that night.
