Ireland Gardaí appeal for driver after hit-and-run injures woman in Newbridge
A woman in her 40s was seriously injured at about 10.20am on 30 August 2021 when a blue Ford Focus hatchback struck her while she was standing beside another vehicle at Rosconnell Estate, Newbridge, Co Kildare. The driver of the car, who has not been identified, failed to remain at the scene, and the woman was taken to Tallaght Hospital. Gardaí released a picture of the car on 2 September 2021, and as of 6 September 2021 no arrest had been reported and Gardaí were still appealing for the driver to come forward.
