Francis McCann, 79, was sentenced to 14 months' imprisonment at Galway Circuit Criminal Court for indecently assaulting two sisters, Áine and Nuala McCann, when they were around 11 or 12 years old in the early 1980s at their aunt's home in Gort, Co Galway.
