Four teens arrested after man found with serious injuries in Clondalkin

On Tuesday 12 September 2023, a man in his 30s was found with a number of injuries at Cherrywood Villas in Clondalkin, Dublin 22, and taken to Tallaght University Hospital, where he was in serious but stable condition. Gardaí arrested four juvenile males aged in their teens on 27 and 28 September 2023 and detained them under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in Dublin. The four have since been released without charge, a file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions, and a referral to the Garda Youth Diversion Bureau is being considered.
