Four due in court after €85,000 drugs seizure in Dublin

Gardaí seized drugs estimated at about €85,000 during searches at premises in Dublin's North East Inner City and Ballymun on Friday 26 May 2023, as part of Operation Tara. Four men aged in their 30s and 40s were arrested under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, and all four have been charged. Separately, on Sunday 28 May 2023 gardaí searched a premises on North Strand, Dublin 3, and arrested a man in his 20s, who has been charged in relation to that seizure. The men are due before Court 1 at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Monday 29 May 2023, and no court outcome or sentence has been reported.
