Father jailed for sexual and physical assault of daughter and cruelty to son in Cork

In 2019 a 43-year-old man, William Condon, of Leesdale in Bishopstown, Cork, physically and sexually assaulted his 15-year-old daughter, Faith Condon, on a day she was home sick from school, and was cruel to his 12-year-old son, William Condon Jnr. Condon pleaded guilty at Cork Circuit Criminal Court to sexual assault and assault causing harm on his daughter and to cruelty to his son. Judge Colin Daly allowed him to be identified. In February 2024 Condon was jailed for four and a half years.
