Dungloe street assault: file to be prepared for DPP

At around 1.30am on Saturday 31 May 2025, a man in his 20s was reported to have been assaulted on Lower Main Street, Dungloe, County Donegal, and was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Gardaí received a report of a public order incident and attended the scene. Another man in his 20s was arrested nearby under the Public Order Act, and Gardaí said enquiries were ongoing.
