Cavan mechanic Mutlu Dalar jailed for rape of female friend

Mutlu Dalar, 42, of Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan, was sentenced to eight years (with the final year suspended) on 3 March 2023 for anally raping a woman at her home on 8 June 2019. He had been convicted by a Central Criminal Court jury in January 2023 after pleading not guilty.
