Alan Mounsey, 45, a carpenter from Ennis, was charged at Ennis District Court with assault causing harm and producing a claw hammer under the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act for allegedly entering Aaron Moloney's home in Clarecastle on 22 February 2025 and striking him multiple times, causing a fractured leg, broken ribs, a punctured lung and head lacerations.
