Brandon Hennessy trial hears son of shooting victim said beaten gunman 'deserved it'

Brandon Hennessy, 21, is on trial at the Special Criminal Court for violent disorder during the Christmas Eve 2023 incident at Browne's Steakhouse, Blanchardstown, in which Tristan Sherry fatally shot Jason Hennessy Sr before being beaten to death. The court heard Hennessy's garda interview in which he said Sherry 'deserved it' and that he acted in self-defence, as well as testimony regarding the arrest and interview of 18-year-old Diarmuid O'Brien, who also faces a violent disorder charge.
